Kelsey Vitullo, MArch | MLA
Architect | Landscape Architect
kelsey.vitullo@chalmersgibbs.ky
With dual master degrees in architecture and landscape architecture, Kelsey’s passion for the interface of these two fields, coupled with an understanding of cultural and environmental sensitivities, affords her a complex, yet elegantly refined, ability to create place. Continual inspiration is drawn from her artwork, where she expresses and explores the ephemerality of landscapes. Her love for plants has resulted in the successful propagation of a once-believed-to-be-extinct plant, Salvia caymanensis (Cayman Sage), while volunteering at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. Throughout 13 years in the design field, her work has centered on a holistic and sustainable approach to the built environment. This has included a masterplan and design of a Wetland Park and Pavilion, the detailing of Rutgers University’s Nursing and Science Building, and the realization of a private residential project in Virginia.
